About the event
The Adelaide 500, now known as the bp Adelaide Grand Final, is the biggest event on the Supercars calendar, the season finale where the championship gets decided. Held on the tight, twisting Adelaide Street Circuit, it's days of high speed racing, tyre smoke, and race day drama as the title comes down to the wire.
Beyond the racing, the event includes support categories on track, a Saturday night concert, and a real festival atmosphere through the streets of Adelaide.
Since Adelaide's a fair way from Melbourne, about eight hours by road, we'll drive down together and break the trip up with an overnight stop along the way, rather than pushing through in one long hit. We'll also stay overnight in Adelaide for the event itself, so nobody's rushing the racing or the road.
