About the event
We will be participating and learning in a HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course, the course will run for approximately 4-6 hours on the day.
Please note that if you participated in our First Aid course in September of 2022, you will only have to do a refresher of your CPR to remain qualified. We will be doing this first on the day so you will not have to stay the whole day and can be dropped off early.
Participants who have completed the HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course and have been assessed as competent in all assessments will receive a digital Statement of Attainment in:
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
- HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Pre-requisites
There are no pre-requisites for this course. Participants are however required to have a minimum level of Literacy and Numeracy to be allowed admittance to this course.
Please notify us if you have any medical conditions or special needs that may prevent you completing all practical assessments. This includes performing CPR on the floor on a manikin. It is a requirement that CPR be performed for at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer CPR on an adult resuscitation manikin placed on the floor.
