Located within Wilsons Promontory National Park, The Big Drift is a vast inland sand dune system that feels more like a desert than coastal Victoria. After a scenic walk through native bushland, we'll emerge onto a breathtaking landscape of rolling sand dunes stretching as far as the eye can see.
This adventure offers the opportunity to explore one of Victoria's hidden gems, enjoy incredible photo opportunities, take in spectacular views, and experience a location unlike anywhere else in the state.
The walk to The Big Drift is approximately 6km return, taking us through beautiful native bushland before emerging onto a breathtaking landscape of rolling sand dunes stretching as far as the eye can see. Once we reach the dunes, there will be plenty of time to explore, take photos, relax, and enjoy…
