Life 30 meters above the ground is somewhat terrifying for me, but everyone else that came on the day didn’t seem at all phased, everyone grabbed their harness and once we all listened to the safety briefing it was time to tackle the wall,
Some had done it before and for others it was their first time but by the end of the day everyone had conquered the wall and gone all the way up!
It’s easy to lose track of time in these places as you are always having to focus and ensure that you are paying attention to where your hands and feet are going,
I was amazed with everyone’s go get it attitude and how easily they were conquering their fears.
After we completed the wall it was onto some bouldering which requires a lot more balance and strength and is much more difficult, but sure enough everyone was blitzing through it.
In the near future, as everyone loved it, we are looking at setting up a fortnightly rock climbing routine where all are invited whether you have done it before or not, We will meet at Hardrock in Nunawading on a weekday afternoon, stay tuned for more updates on this and please let me know if you are interested in participating.
See you all at Bounce next Saturday!
