Redwood Forest Road Trip

Hidden away in the beautiful Yarra Valley of Eastern Victoria is the spectacular Redwood Forest, You can benefit both mind and body when you get outdoors to explore and experience Victoria's natural places and this one is definitely on that list.

As you can see, this place requires no filters to help assist with its natural beauty, its extremely easy to lose track of time by becoming one with nature and enjoying all it has to offer, the human made nests are also a beautiful addition that add to the experience.

The Californian Redwood trees were planted by the Board of Works in about 1930 for experimental purposes as part of the Board’s hydrology research program. Trees planted were Bishop Pine, Douglas Fir and Californian Redwood and have made for spectacular visuals.

We were extremely spoiled to have incredible weather on the day, we arrived at around 9:50AM and it was as if there was no one there, by the time we ended up leaving the parking was almost completely full, there are countless other locations across Victoria that we also look forward to visiting, stay tuned on the Upcoming Events Page!
